Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland, Ambassador Raffy Bell Supported The Less Privileged via Ijebu CAN Structure During 2025 Adura Odun Prayer
The whole body of Christian Association of Nigerian CAN of Ijebuland ably represented by each CAN Chairman along with their Exco's at each designated district of Ijebuland Local Government, were all full of praises for Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebu Land, Ambassador Chief Raffy Bell of Bello Family in Ijebu Imushin during the 2025 "Adura Odun" "Prayer Week" hosted by him on behalf of his family, friends, associates and the Ijebu Imushin Community alongside other Ijebu Community's, because of the special act of supporting the less privileged with cash largesse via each district body of Christian Association of Nigerian within said Ijebuland.
This act of his was actually different from those of other hosts that have hosted CAN Exco's at the respective Local Government axis across Ijebuland in the past weeks.
Adura Odun Week where usually done yearly by all Ijebu CAN Exco's with respective Chairman leading others to usher in prayers for the host Community and it's Leaders via the Host family, whereby Christian faithful and others cross attendees, to experience and share of grace of fellowship with related Host in praising, singing, dancing and wishful envisioned Faith prayers, for everyone present as well as the general populace.
Specific messages are delivered by the chosen respected Elderly and seasoned Preacher at each venue that clarifies collective encapsulate messages from yearly themes with the leading of Holy Spirit on behalf of Jesus Christ and Jehovah to those present and those beyond.
Outstanding things that usually stood out during each event include said messages from the Host CAN Chairman, Other Representative of State/National CAN Co-Host, then Host recipient of the day, then collective general prayers for the Community, State, Nation and Global Nations too
Specific prayer for the Host and his family.
In his own brief remarks tagged "The Welcome Address", Ambassador Raffy Bell stated thus:
"I welcome you all to Ijebu Imushin as representative of Christian Association of Nigeria, from all the chapters across Ijebuland. I appreciate the great privilege of hosting this inaugural annual thanksgiving service as Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland.
I wish to reassure you of my readiness to serve in this capacity in collaboration with Chief Chris Olufunlola Okunowo, The Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland for impactful advancement of Christianity in the land
According to him, the listed bible references reveal the reason we're to be thankful to God. It is for this purpose we are gather here today to appreciate and celebrate God's faithfulness in our own little way and with the consciousness that we do not have the capacity to thank Him enough.
I am hopeful of a good relationship with you this year and beyond so we can together move Christianity forward and make it more meaningful among our people.
On behalf of my family our royal father's and the good people of Ijebu Imushin, I sincerely welcome you to this thanksgiving service.
In subsequent remarks he acknowledged the roles played by Awujale of Ijebuland, HRM, Oba SK Adetona, GCON and Akarigbo of Remoland, HRH, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, HE Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, HE, Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel and other Representatives including late Otunba Mrs Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga aka Ijaya, plus other stakeholders on their efforts concerning the aspirations and clamour for manifestation Ijebu State Creation. He prayed that their efforts would be fruitful and subsequently Ijebu and Remo land would witness bountiful leaps in all round development.
In other interviews, he also acknowledged the roles of past Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland that include late Ogbeni Oja of Ijebuland, Chief Timothy Odutola, Late Revs. Dr Olajide Awosedo, late Otunba Dr. Micheal Olasubomi Balogun, CON, Tunwase of Ijebuland. He also celebrate the existing roles of RT Revd Dr Emmanuel Oludaisi Adekunle, Chairman, CAN Ogun State Chapter, HE, Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, PhD, GCFR, Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ogun State, Ambassador, Dr Mrs Olatokunbo Awolowo Dosunmu, Asiwaju Obirin Onigbagbo of Ogun State, Chief Chris Olufunlola Okunowo, Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland. He prayed that their time would experienced fruitfulness in all ramafication within the Community, State and the Nation.
Subsequent interview with CAN Exco's Representative's spokesperson, Bishop Hon Dr Wasiu Olalekan, CAN Chairman Ijebu Ode- South, Revd Dr Dele Taiwo, CAN Chairman, Ijebu Ode LG, Pastor Okukade GA, Host CAN, Ijebu East Central LCDA, Revd Dr Albert Osijo, Chairman CAN, Ogun Waterside, each spoke gloriously about the Host and other Host for their unflinching support and welfare packages and cares for Christian adherents, CAN Exco's and their respective communities.
Each of them prays for further and good interrelationship among them while hoping more financial plus other welfare support largesse would be received from all host and the general public.
Present also are "Gentlemen of the Press" that include Ijebu Today, Today Update Magazine, Today RadioTV online, Sage online Media, NTA , Ijebu Ode, others.
Present at the event are other dignitaries including friends from abroad , family members, Bobagunte Akile and Bobagunte Obirin, other well wishers.
