New Year Message from Ijebu North Local Government Chairman, Hon Abolaji Odusanya

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all residents of Ijebu North Local Government, with special recognition to our traditional rulers, the religious leaders, the market men and women, our political class, the career staff members, the security personnel, our Youths, Artisans, political and non-political Groups and Associations, the supporters and promoters of our political dreams and aspirations, the APC family and the captain of our team, His Excellency, Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Executive Governor of Ogun State on the occasion of the New Year 2025.

My profound gratitude goes to the people of Ijebu North for their steadfast support and cooperation throughout the year 2024; your contributions to the progress achieved so far are acknowledged and appreciated. I am reaffirming our administration's commitment to prioritizing people-centric initiatives and developmental projects aimed at positioning Ijebu North among the leading local governments, not just in Ogun State, but across Nigeria.

As we usher in the year 2025, it is imperative to build on the solid foundation we have laid by introducing and completing more human-centred projects that will catalyze development and elevate our Local Government’s standing.

Let me seize this opportunity to inform you of our plans for comprehensive policy reforms designed to significantly enhance the Local Government's Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for the purpose of development in terms of projects and human development.

Dear residents of Ijebu North, I beckon on you to remain united and steadfast in your efforts toward fostering a safer and more prosperous Local Government. 

As we welcome the year 2025, let us continue to work collaboratively for the collective good of Ijebu North, ensuring it remains a beacon of progress and development.
