Hon Engr. Kunle Otun aka KOPE Support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) to become Ogun State next Governor remains Unwavering and Non-negotiable.
This was openly declared on January 2nd, 2025, when Engineer Kunle Otun popularly called KOPE hosted a New Year party at his country home in Ijebu-Ode, where APC Party faithfuls across Ijebu Community's within Ijebu Central Federal Constituency and others across the State gathered to celebrate with him.
During his address to Kope loyalist and Hon Senator Yayi enthusiast supporter along APC party members, Engr Kunle Otun aka Kope urged all APC Party faithfuls to remain resolute and focused, emphasizing that their support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) to become the next governor is unwavering and non-negotiable.
Several net worthy personalities among whom are Former Ijebu Ode House of Assembly, Hon Gbenga Lekuti, Former Secretary to Ijebu Ode Local Government, Dr Amos, Hon Odubela, former Women party Leader, Alhaja Quadri and others, including several political pressure groups grace the event.
When interviewed by reporters, Alhaja Quadri, a former APC Women Leader, commended KOPE for its political consistency, commitment, and dedication to leadership.
She expressed her gratitude for the New Year gifts, both in cash and kind, and assured KOPE of the team’s unwavering support. She reaffirmed their readiness to work tirelessly and support YAYI in his bid for the governorship in 2027.
Others interviewed among the groups present featuring "Strong Women in Politics" in Ijebu Ode, express their delight with both Hon Kope and Hon Senator Yayi, stating categorically that their respect and admiration for each remain unfading because of their continuous support for the party over the years especially as grassroot mobiliser, enabler and sustainer.
Hon Ola says that many would have lost hope in politics if not for personal support from Hon Kope and Hon Senator Yayi.
