French Investors Eye Ogun State’s Transport Infrastructure

Ogun State is gaining the attention of French investors, particularly in its transport infrastructure projects, including the Agro-Cargo Airport, Dry Port, Olokola Sea Port, and railway system. During a visit to the state, former French Transport Minister, Mr. Djebbari Jean-Baptiste, praised the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport, describing it as a hub with immense potential for global partnerships.

The state’s multimodal transport master plan integrates these projects to drive economic growth and efficiency. By leveraging federal rail infrastructure, the plan aims to streamline cargo movement and ease congestion at major ports.

With the Agro-Cargo Airport nearing completion, Ogun State is positioning itself as Nigeria’s most advanced hub for trade and logistics. The government remains committed to fostering international partnerships that align with its vision of building a prosperous and investment-friendly state.
