Asiwaju Onigbagbo and Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland Resolved at Upping The Overall Status of Each Christian Within Their Domain

 

Subsequent to their meeting facially and officially for the first time after both were inducted as Asiwaju Onigbagbo and Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebuland, Chief Chris Olufunlola Okunowo from Ijebu Ode and Ambassador Raffy Bell from Ijebu Imushin in the presence of some privileged CAN Elders and Ogun State liaison CAN Officer, promised to see to the spiritual and other social economic status of each members of Christian Community within the 15 District under their jurisdictional constituency.

With each personality taking turns to give expressions to their delight of meeting facially for the first time after their respective induction, each clarified that they have been hearing positive news beforehand about each other especially concerning each contributions to the cause of the Christian and general Community in time. However with destiny bringing them together as both Asiwaju Onigbagbo and Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo respectively, working together on a common cause to uplift the status of each member of Ijebuland Christians are now unavoidable. 

Chris Olufunlola Okunowo who hosted the Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo, Ambassador Raffy Bell and his international entourages, expressed that he would have meet with his Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo at Lagos if he knew he would be coming in from Lagos for the meeting, since he too would be returning to Lagos after their meeting. 

However, Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo, responded back , that it is his delight to come over to the legendary house of Bobasuwa Compound, that he has been admiring since childhood. 

They eventually have an open discussion with prominent CAN Stakeholders that includes State liaison officers, Ijebu Ode LG and LCDA South Chairmen, Rev Adedipe, and others, where they agreed to strive at impacting the Christian Association adherents and much more though along with the present 15 District Exco's as Christians Community representative, yearly. 

According to their combined open declaration, at least one major project would be embarked upon. Said special projects should have emphatically influences each Christian adherents within their constituency. Fellowship and prayers according to both Asiwaju Onigbagbo and his Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo, are good but much more Jesus Christ expects adequate welfare of his sheep and folk accordingly. They are actually the real essences of our titled induction and the mandate attached. 

Both Asiwaju Onigbagbo and Otun Asiwaju Onigbagbo declared that they are not inducted as Asiwaju Onigbagbo of Ijebu Ode but rather Ijebuland hence their activities would spread to all the 15 CAN Districts under their jurisdiction. 

We would surely work with the State and National arms of CAN Association and we are sure everyone would be happy that this season has come upon them. 

Asiwaju Onigbagbo Chief Chris Olufunlola Okunowo however brought another twist to the whole discussion when he stated that he won't be leaving Bobasuwa Compound to any Christian denomination nor its combined CAN Association but likely to an International Medical NGO as family largesse and to the people. 

Present among CAN Ogun State Representatives are Apostle Adedipe Folarin, Special Asst. on CAN issues to Otun Asiwaju and immediate past Ijebu Ode CAN Chairman, Rev Idowu  Matthew, Ogun East Senatorial CAN Liaison Officer, Arch Paul Onanuga, Pastor Olalekan Wasiu, Rev Dele Taiwo, Ijebu Ode South and Ijebu Ode LG Chapter Chairman.  Deacons  Adenuga, Rev Balogun and host of others CAN representatives

Present at the occasion are "Gentlemen of the Press" including "Today Radio TV", Ijebu Today, Today Update Magazine and others 

Everyone present was eventually treated to a sumptuous meal after which a photography session took place.
